Slice the potatoes and steam them in a steamer. To cool, use a spoon to crush into mashed potatoes.

Dice the ham, stir it with mashed potatoes, and add a small amount of salt to season.

Place the rolled and sliced mashed nori mashed potatoes in a pan to fry on both sides. (This step can be saved, depending on everyone's preference. If the seaweed is wet, it will be crispier if fried.)
